Hawi is currently in high school and her favorite subject is civic studies. She lives with her aunt and her brother but has several brothers and sisters living throughout Ethiopia. She loves watching TV and also loves watching the Moon at night. Hawi aspires to be a lawyer but also hopes to continue sewing for fun or for a career in her future. She loves the open communication provided in the sewing program.
